Klees: Want Good Government? Get Involved!

(Aurora, ON, May 4, 2007)

To encourage that involvement, Klees hosted the second of a series of consultation meetings May 4 at Jonathan's Restaurant in Aurora. Focussed on health care, the event was over-subscribed and attended by both heath care professionals and residents from the riding.

"The purpose of this meeting was to solicit input and advice on how we can improve health care access and delivery in Newmarket and Aurora," said Klees. "Finding a family doctor, lengthy waiting times, access to long term care and adequate home care were some of the many issues raised."

Klees said the information will be helpful to him to better understand the specific priorities for the community and will also help to shape the Ontario PC policy platform for the upcoming election.

Residents who were unable to attend the health care meeting are invited to register their comments at
